Responsibilities

• Investigates Event Reports and EMTALA related concerns.
• Analyzes allegations of claims and complaints using medical record review, security reports, etc.
• Interviews employees, patients, families, and physicians for event details and documents summaries in a medical/legal perspective.
• Participates in risk management reduction strategies with the Risk Management team.
