Job summary

Highland Place Rehab & Nursing in Shreveport, LA is seeking dedicated RN or LPN/LVN nurses for full-time, part-time, or PRN roles. Shifts are 12 hours, with opportunities across day and evening schedules, and the facility emphasizes compassionate care and quality resident outcomes.

You will administer medications, implement care plans, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while delivering person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current State of Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) licensure.
• A minimum of 1 year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible during the shift for the total nursing care of residents in the assigned unit.
• Assumes responsibility for compliance with Federal, State, Local, and company regulations.
• Explains procedures and treatments and care plan to resident.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Transcribes physician's orders.
• Additional duties as assigned.
