Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking an RN for the Resource Team/Float Pool on a per diem basis. Hours: 7:00am–7:30pm.

The position supports flexible staffing with Level 1 per diem commitment (at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including 24 weekend hours). You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, educate patients and families, and participate in quality improvement to uphold nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN required.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement.
• Maintains professional nursing knowledge in current practice standards, laws and regulations.
