Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework. You will be responsible for delivering care, coordinating with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in a team-focused environment.

Required education includes RN licensure (state-specific) and a nursing degree; BLS is mandatory, with ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC or unit-specific certifications potentially required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; maintain per state requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification required; additional certifications may be required per unit.

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Position Details:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certifications:

- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules

- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
