Job summary

Horizon Corporations in the United States (Sanborn, NY) is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for a residential behavioral health setting. You will join a team that supports recovery journeys through medical, behavioral, and holistic care.

The role includes medication management, medical assessments, patient education, and managing comorbid conditions. Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:00pm with every 3rd weekend, offering a $1,500 sign-on option and tuition benefits through Capella University.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse License - required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university - required.
• Behavioral Health Substance Use experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with medication management and integration appointments.
• Complete medical assessments.
• Provide education on preventative health and wellness skills.
• Educate on comorbid conditions for the patient population.
• Provide education on smoking cessation.
• Perform touchless searches, conduct supervised toxicologies, and participate in room searches.
• Other duties as defined by the RN Manager.

What has prepared me for this opportunity?

Location

This position is located at our Residential facility located at 6298 Inducon Dr, Sanborn NY.

Hours

This position is full-time from Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm with every 3rd weekend shift as well

Compensation:

Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $41.26 - $43.15. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. You’ll earn an additional 25% shift differential for your work hours that fall between the hours of 7 PM - 7 AM! Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.

Registered Nurse Recruitment Bonus Program

Eligible Hires and Payment Structure:

• Full Time Registered Nurse hires will receive $750 after 30 days of continuously working and another $750 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $1,500.
• Part Time Registered Nurse hires will receive $375 after 30 days of continuously working and another $375 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $750.
• Per Diem Registered Nurse hires will receive $200 after 30 days of continuously working and $175 after 6 months of continuously working for a total bonus of $375.

Physical demands associated with this position include:

• Stationary posture with frequent standing/sitting alternation
• Mobility between nearby worksites and within facilities
• Mobility required involving repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
• Lifting objects up to 20 pounds
