St. Joseph's Health in New York is offering a Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program for newly licensed RN residents. The 12-month track provides mentorship, peer support, and hands-on practice across Behavioral Health, Critical Care, Emergency Services, and Surgical tracks.

Residents gain structured, evidence-based learning with monthly sessions and leadership development, while enrolling cohorts eight times yearly. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN License in NY posted on the Office of Professions.
• Maintains current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
• Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates knowledge and skills.

Start your nursing career with confidence through 12 month-long Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™, designed to support newly NY State Licensed RN's as they transition into clinical practice.

As an RN Resident, you’ll receive:

• Mentorship from experienced nurses
• Peer support and collaboration
• Monthly interactive, evidence-based learning sessions
• Hands-on experience in your chosen track

You’ll build skills in:

• Clinical decision-making

• Evidence-based practice

Eligibility:

All newly NY State Licensed RN Residents with less than one year of experience are automatically enrolled. Cohorts start 8 times per year.

Pay Range

$39.90-40.90/hr. (based on experience, education, and skills)
