Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center invites newly graduated nurses to join the HCA Nurse Residency Program. This year-long residency provides hands-on clinical experience, structured learning sessions, preceptorship, and project work to ease transition from student nurse to registered nurse.

You will receive mentoring from experienced nurse leaders and participate in a collaborative, evidence-based environment across multiple specialties, including NICU, Emergency Services, and Critical Care.

Qualifications

• RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care.
• Includes hands-on learning, mentoring by nurse leaders, and evidence-based projects.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up steps.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
