Job summary

Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA is launching an RN Resident program for acute care nursing, starting February 2027.

The residency blends structured learning, simulation, and authentic patient care under experienced preceptors to support new graduates or nurses with up to 12 months of experience. Night shifts are available, with units focused on Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and Neuro/Stroke.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Washington RN license must be obtained upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• New graduates with 12 months of experience or less are eligible for the RN Residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision within inpatient rehab units.
• Participate in structured curriculum, simulations, and precepted clinical experiences.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams to support brain injury, spinal cord injury, and neuro/stroke patients.

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Washington Registered Nurse License (Upon hire)

BLS Certification - American Heart Association

Newly licensed with ≤12 months of experience
