Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must graduate by December 2026.
• Must have current RN license or valid temporary permit with the Texas Board of Nursing or valid Compact RN license.
• Must have current healthcare provider BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
• If less than 9 months experience, a Nurse residency is required. LVN experience does not waive this requirement.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a patient advocate, focusing on patient needs, rights, confidentiality, and cultural preferences.
• Maintains compliance with rules, regulations, and guidelines impacting nursing practice.
• Performs patient assessments and reports changes to providers in a timely manner.
• Manages diverse patient populations across various body systems and provides safe medication administration.
• Completes documentation accurately in patient care records and hospital documents.
• Identifies opportunities to improve workflows and patient satisfaction.
