Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit focused on renal transplant, urology, peritoneal dialysis, pulmonary hypertension, and more. The Temple Memorial campus is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and the region’s Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

The unit cares for diverse patients including nephrology, transplant and vascular access cases.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN License.
• Minimum of 6 Months of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Peritoneal Dialysis management
• Epidural
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation
• Nephrostomy and Urostomy care
• Complex urinary catheter insertions and care
• Suprapubic catheter insertion and care
• Fistula access
