Job summary

The Pines at Rutland Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Rutland, Vermont, is seeking a Registered Nurse for either part-time or full-time weekend coverage. Shifts are available on days and evenings, and the role focuses on delivering comprehensive patient care to our aging residents.

Qualifications

  • Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  • Strong clinical skills and critical thinking are essential.
  • Ability to work with elderly and chronically ill patients in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient conditions and develop care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and medical information.
  • Provide wound care and nursing interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
  • Oversee and guide LPNs and CNAs in delivering care.

We are seeking a part time or full time RN to work every weekend. Shifts are avaialble on days and evenings.

What You'll Do:

As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
  • Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
  • Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
  • Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care

Rate of Pay

USD $50.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
