Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute, part of MultiCare Health System, seeks a staff RN for a hospital-based team on Night shift. This role emphasizes specialized nursing care within a multidisciplinary environment and supports professional development and clinical decision-making collaboration.

Ideal candidates hold a WA RN license or MLS, with BLS and relevant specialty certifications. BSN is preferred, and acute care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver care per hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost efficiency.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.15 - $90.83 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
