Job summary

NHC HomeCare Aiken is seeking an RN for a PRN position in Aiken, SC. You will perform nursing care using established processes to meet patient goals, assess factors affecting health, and develop individualized care plans.

The role requires an unencumbered RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and education to patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered RN license in SC or compact state.
• Minimum 1 year experience as RN.
• Home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to identify and achieve patient goals: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and environmental factors to develop a comprehensive care plan.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure personal, medical, and rehabilitative care.
• Educates patient/caregiver and documents ongoing needs and understanding.

Position: RN, Registered Nurse PRN – NHC HomeCare Aiken

Licensure:

• Unencumbered current Registered Nurse license in the state where the HomeCare agency is located or compact state, if applicable.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a RN / professional nurse.
• Experience in home care is desirable.

RN Position Highlights:

• Utilizes the nursing process to identify and achieve patient goals: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and environmental factors that affect a patient’s health to develop a comprehensive nursing care plan which will attain the patients desired health outcomes in a culturally comfortable way.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to assure personal care, medical care and rehabilitation provide for optimal patient health and well-being.
• Teaches patient/caregiver in various aspects of health care and disease management appropriate to needs/level of education and understanding and documents continuing needs and levels of patients/caregivers understanding.
• Salary contingent based on experience and vary per candidate.
