Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking an RN for Orthopedics General. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team.

The Attending RN will assess physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families, and will direct care within a designated group practice to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or multistate RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

The Attending RN will serve as the professional nurse by assessing, planning, directing, practicing and evaluating patient care in a designated group practice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
