Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Coletta Cancer Center in Oklahoma City. The role involves providing patient care using the nursing process, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating with multiple departments to deliver high-quality oncology care.

The ideal candidate will graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold an Oklahoma RN license (or temporary permit), and maintain CPR certification, with other certifications as required by the department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as an RN in Oklahoma or holding a valid RN Temporary Permit.
• CPR certification; other certifications per department policy.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Protects patient rights and confidentiality of information.

Position Details:

Location: Mercy Coletta Cancer Center - Oklahoma City

Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday

Overview:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Oklahoma.
• Certifications: CPR required; other certification required according to department policy.
