Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN at Mercy Coletta Cancer Center in Oklahoma City to provide direct patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate care, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and uphold Mercy’s mission and service standards.

Oncology-focused duties may include ambulatory and clinic settings as assigned. The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, Oklahoma RN licensure, and CPR certification, with department-specific certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license/Temporary Permit in the State of Oklahoma.
• CPR certification; additional certifications as required by department policy.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.

Position Details:

Location: Mercy Coletta Cancer Center - Oklahoma City

Schedule: 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday

Overview:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Oklahoma.
• Certifications: CPR required; other certification required according to department policy.
