Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives, goals and standards of nursing practice as per licensure and Nurse Practice Act.
• Assesses staffing needs and coordinates with Director of Nursing.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans for residents.
• Coordinates equipment supplies and inventory.
• Directs and oversees subordinates and assigns duties.
• Organizes and times tasks for team members.
• Monitors patient care activities and staff performance.
• Implements infection control measures and compliance.
• Investigates incidents and documents outcomes.
• Participates in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Ensures high-quality, customer-service oriented resident care.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and facility policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

RN Responsibilities:

• Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans.
• Identifies/secures equipment supplies
• Directs/oversees subordinates.
• Participates in duty assignments.
• Organizes/coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversees/monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
• Monitor’s infection control compliance.
• Investigates/documents accidents/incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.

RN Requirements:

• Current, valid licensure as a RN required

Working Hours:

7:00am-7:00pm and 7pm to 7am
