Summary:
The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to focus on long-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.

Responsibilities:
- Meet expectations of applicable competencies: Leader of Self, Others, or Leaders.
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Job Requirements:
- Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: BLS required; RN License in the state of employment or a compact license.
- Additional requirements include ACLS certification, completion of onboarding and competency validations, and adherence to credentialing timelines.

Work Schedule: 6PM - 6AM, 12-hour shifts.
