Job summary

Adoration Health in Providence, RI is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our home health team on a PRN schedule. You will provide one-on-one patient care in the home, following physician orders and care plans to support independence and comfort.

This role offers flexible scheduling, private duty assignments, and the chance to work with an interdisciplinary team. A valid RN license in Rhode Island and CPR certification are required; Home Health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Rhode Island with active, unrestricted registration.
• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience; home health or geriatrics preferred.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and driving record per policy.
• CPR certification required and current.
• New grads may be considered in select markets.

Responsibilities

• Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Create home health care plans aligned with MD orders and patient goals.
• Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management.
• Educate and support the patient's family and caregivers.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the local branch.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Registered Nurse, You will:

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Degree (Associate or Bachelor) from an accredited college of nursing with current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice and in the state of residence is required
• One year nursing practice in a patient care setting required; and home health, geriatrics or other related settings preferred
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance in accordance with Adoration policy
• New nursing graduates may be considered in select markets based on program availability
• Current CPR certification
