Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is hiring for Full-time Nursing staff to cover night and day shifts across ICU, ED and MedSurg units. This role includes direct patient care, coordinating care across disciplines and implementing care plans.

Eligible positions offer PTO, parental leave, tuition reimbursement and more, with opportunities to work in a nationally recognized health system that serves a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and active licensure at time of hire; one year of nursing experience required.

Full-time Nights 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Full-time Days 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Could also be 6:00 - 6:00 depending on unit

A minimum of 12 months of experience is highly preferred.
