Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a registered nurse for full-time night or day shifts in the Float Staffing unit (ICU, ED, Medsurg). Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare setting, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care.

Requirements include BLS within 30 days, Alabama RN license, Diploma in nursing and licensure, and at least one year of nursing experience. Work location is UAB St.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required. One (1) year of nursing experience required.

A minimum of 12 months of experience is highly preferred.
