Geisinger Clinic in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. This full-time union position offers 8-hour shifts, on-call rotation, and comprehensive onboarding to help you integrate smoothly into the team.

You will perform GI procedures, administer meds and IV therapy, monitor patients, and collaborate with gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, nurses, technicians, and coordinators in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Experience in pre- or post-procedural care is a plus, but not required—we'll support your development!

Position Highlights:

• Sign-On Incentive: Up to $15,000 for qualified candidates


• Team Culture: Work in a collaborative and supportive environment


• Schedule: Full-time union position (40 hours/week)- 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with rotating start times (6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM)


• On-Call Rotation: Includes weekends and holidays. On-call responsibilities typically occur every 7th weekend, 4 weekdays per month, and 1-2 holidays per year. A 30-minute response time is required when on-call. Scheduling is based on team rotation and may be subject to change.


• Onboarding Support: Comprehensive onboarding to help you navigate scheduling and integrate smoothly into the team

Qualifications:

• Active RN license

About the Role

As an RN in our Endoscopy Department, you'll be part of a highly skilled team performing a wide range of procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, bronchoscopy, and ERCP. You'll work alongside gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, nurses, technicians, and coordinators to deliver tertiary-level care in a community setting.
