Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy department. The RN will participate in inpatient and outpatient upper and lower endoscopies and advanced GI procedures.
The role involves a 1:2 nurse-patient ratio in a fast-paced setting with cross-training across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure stages. The RN will provide care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborate with GI physicians and anesthesia, and maintain documentation and communication to ensure

The Endoscopy department at Mount Carmel St. Ann's averages 20 cases per day. The R egistered N urse RN would participate in inpatient and outpatient upper and lower endoscopies along with advanced GI procedures. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2. All staff are cross trained to work in pre-procedure, intra- procedure and post-procedure. This is a fast-paced environment that is challenging and rewarding to experienced nurses. The Registered Nurse RN , within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Registered Nurse RN , collaborates in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organization.
