Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA is hiring a RN for the Emergency Nursing - Observation Unit. This full-time position operates the night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, at 0.9 FTE, with a $5.00/hour night differential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN license or multi-state license (NLC) is required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• Minimum one (1) year nursing experience.
• Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
• ACLS required within six (6) months
• PALS required within six (6) months
• ENPC required within twelve (12) months
