Temple-Health is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department in Philadelphia. This full-time night-shift role (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) requires 36 hours per week, providing direct patient care and coordinating with the care team during physician visits or telephone encounters.

Required: PA RN license, BLS, and a nursing degree from an accredited program; a BSN is preferred. Two years of clinical specialty experience is preferred or general case management experience.

Qualificações

• RN must assess, implement and evaluate care using nursing process.
• Licensure and BLS required; multi-state compact preferred.
• 2 years experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.

Responsible and accountable for care of outpatients during scheduled physician visit or during a telephone encounter. The RN assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician or advance practice clinician (APC). The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area

Education

• Other Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree Required

• General Experience in Case Management Preferred
