Beebe Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for night shift to deliver high‑quality, compassionate emergency care in a busy ED. The role emphasizes rapid assessment, decisive action, and teamwork with physicians, techs, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.

You will manage urgent needs, administer medications, document meticulously, and participate in ongoing professional development in a supportive coastal community hospital.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• PALS within 6 months required
• TNCC within 1 year required
• Completion of Baby Friendly Education within 6 months of hire
• EPIC experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Assess and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced ED.
• Respond quickly to changing conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Document clearly and timely per standards and communicate with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Prioritization
  • Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments to determine clinical needs and prioritize care appropriately.
  • Conducts risk assessments to identify potential complications and initiates timely interventions.
• Specimen Collection & Processing
  • Collects correct and adequate blood and urine specimens as ordered by physicians, following proper techniques and safety procedures.
  • Accurately labels specimens and completes all required processing steps to ensure integrity and traceability.
  • Ensures appropriate and timely delivery of specimens to the laboratory, coordinating courier transport or outside‑agency pickup when required.
• Documentation & Communication
  • Maintains clear, complete, and timely documentation in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe and coordinated care.
• Clinical Problem‑Solving
  • Applies strong problem‑solving skills to evaluate situations, identify issues, and implement effective solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Equipment Operation & Skill Proficiency
  • Operates clinical equipment safely and competently, ensuring proper function and reporting malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintains proficiency in required clinical procedures and adheres to established standards of practice.
• Medication Safety
  • Demonstrates safe medication practices, including accurate administration, monitoring, and adherence to all medication safety protocols.
• Teamwork & Initiative
  • Works collaboratively within the healthcare team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Demonstrates initiative by anticipating needs, taking proactive steps to support workflow, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.
• PALS within 6 months required
• TNCC within 1 year required
• Completion of Baby Friendly Education within 6 months of hire
• EPIC preferred

Credentials

• RN - Registered Nurse
• BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (upon completion of department orientation)
• NIH - Stroke Certification
