Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support the ICU at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The role is 24 hours per week with days 6:45a–7:15p and every-other weekend/holiday as required.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care under physician direction, and coordinating with the health care team to individualize care. The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, current PA RN license, BLS, and (preferably) 2 years of specialty experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree (Required).
• 2 years experience in area of clinical specialty (Preferred).
• PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
• Basic Life Support (Required).
• Multi State Compact RN License (Required) Or

Responsibilities

• Assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician.
• Collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care.
• Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures.
• Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.

This position is part-time 24 hours per week Days Flex 6:45a-7:15p with every-other weekend and holidays as required at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
