Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (HMC) is seeking a compassionate, energetic, patient‑focused Surgical Technologist to join our collaborative professional team.

Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist provides a sterile patient care environment by setting up instrumentation for operating room procedures, anticipating the surgical team’s needs, and providing surgical assistance throughout operating room procedures. HMC’s 35 operating rooms and 548 licensed beds offer a breadth of experience for all Surgical Techs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology accredited by CAAHEP
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist through NBSTSA or NCCT
  • Completion of an accredited program or accredited armed forces training program
  • Ongoing continuing education required to maintain certification
  • BLS/CPR certification
