Job Description:
This position includes a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus with a 1-year commitment to the organization. Sign-On Bonus Eligibility to External Applicants ONLY with 1 year RN Acute Care Experience.
The Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital will give our community its first-ever wellness destination, offering improved access to nutrition education, exercise resources, and state-of-the-art care. Our new facility spans over 200,000 square feet, with 58 acute care beds, and features an organic farm providing nutrition, education, and therapies. We aim to serve as a community hub that promotes a higher quality of life and sets a new standard for health and wellness in Lenawee County.
Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care appropriate to the age of the patients. Participates in patient/family teaching and provides leadership by working collaboratively with physicians and healthcare personnel. Communicates patient information accurately and maintains confidentiality. Continually seeks professional growth through literature, seminars, workshops, and affiliations.
