Job summary

Good Samaritan Bethany in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (4:00pm–4:30am). You will apply the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with an inter-disciplinary team, and coordinate resident care across all stages.

Qualified candidates will hold a Minnesota RN license (or multi-state license) with a preference for graduates from accredited programs; excellent benefits and growth opportunities are offered for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA) and bachelor's preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in Minnesota or multi-state licensure.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).

Position Details

• Full Time - 72 Hours a bi-weekly pay period
• Evening/Night Shift - 4:00pm to 4:30am
• Every Other Weekend and Rotating Holidays
• Additional shift incentive of $1.25 for any hours worked from 6:00pm to 6:00am
• Additional weekend incentive of $1.25 an hour
• Sign-on Bonus (if eligibility requirements are met)
• Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsible for the coordination of care, resident assessment, resident education and various other nursing interventions.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.

Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
