Job summary

Mount Vernon Health Care Center in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking a compassionate RN to join our care team. The successful candidate will conduct assessments, coordinate admissions and discharges, and deliver skilled nursing care to residents. You will lead CNAs and CMTs, respond to emergencies, and ensure documentation follows protocols.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, follow protocol, report changes, and document findings.
• Perform admission duties: complete assessment, MAR, TAR, POS, chart setup, physician orders, and medications.
• Manage discharges: documentation, notify physician/guardian, arrange transportation.
• Provide wound care: follow protocols, irrigate, pack dressings, and change dressings.
• Lead CNAs and CMTs, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
• Respond effectively to emergencies.
