Job summary

Life Care Center of the North Shore in Massachusetts is hiring for Evening Shift Nurses (3PM – 11PM) and Night Shift Nurses (11PM – 7AM). Full-time and part-time positions are available. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered for full-time 11PM–7AM roles.

Competitive pay with shift differentials, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Qualified candidates include RNs or LPNs with a Nursing diploma and Massachusetts licensure.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents during evening and night shifts
• Evaluate patient needs and adjust care plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
• Supervise and assist CNAs and LPNs as required

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the RN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role includes evaluating patient needs through ongoing assessment and revise care plans based on changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to provide clinical supervision to C N As and LPNs.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
