Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Johnson City, TN is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. The RN delivers high-quality nursing care, evaluates patient needs through ongoing assessment, and revises care plans as the patient’s condition changes to maintain highest practicable well-being.

Our facility emphasizes collaboration with CNAs, LPNs, and other professionals to ensure exceptional patient care and compliance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing).
• Active RN license in good standing in the applicable state.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation. CPR must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and assess ongoing needs; revise care plans as condition changes.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and compliance with Life Care standards.

Education

Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)

Active RN license in good standing in the applicable state

CPR certification upon hire or during orientation

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the RN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your role includes evaluating patient needs through ongoing assessment and revise care plans based on changes in the patient’s condition. On a daily basis you must be able to provide clinical supervision to C N As and LPNs.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• Nursing diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing)
• Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
