Job summary

Mercy is seeking experienced nurses for Regional Resource RN roles in SWMO region. Night shift opportunities exist with full-time and part-time options. Nurses will self-schedule and travel to nearby Mercy facilities within 90 miles of their home address.

Requirements include RN license, 3 years RN experience in the service line, and certifications (BLS; ICU requires BLS/ACLS). Competitive pay, shift differentials, and benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.
• Current RN licensure with State Board of Nursing or active temporary work permit in the applicable state.
• 3 years of RN experience within your service line in the past 12 months.
• Certifications: ICU requires BLS and ACLS; Med Surg and Behavioral Health require BLS.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking, and ability to reach/bend/kneel/twist/squat.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for adult/geriatric patients in MED/SURG and ICU.
• Self-schedule and travel to Mercy facilities within 90 miles from home address as needed.
• Provide high-quality nursing care while adhering to Mercy standards and policies.

Candidate must report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital where they are employed. Determination of facilities to be discussed upon hire into position with approval by hiring leader/leadership team.

Overview

Mercy is currently seeking experienced nurses for Regional Resource RNs. Availability of shifts include full-time and part-time night shift. Nurses in these roles will be able to self-schedule and must be able and willing to travel to surrounding Mercy facilities within 90 miles from their home address.

• Lebanon
• Mercy Ortho Hospital (Ozark, MO)
• Pittsburg, KS

Currently, the only units available in this role are ICU and Med Surg (Nights). Candidates able to work night shift are heavily encouraged to apply! Competitive pay, shift differentials, weekend differentials, and weekend option opportunities available!

  • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
  • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
