Qualifications

• Licensed in Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if new grad.
• BSN preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• May require refresher if returning to acute care after 5+ years.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope.

Responsibilities

• The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide care in collaboration with other health care providers.
• RN is accountable for professional development and practice within legal scope.
• RN acts as a patient advocate for safe care, including delegation and performance improvement activities.
• Delivery of nursing care reflects Kettering Health Network missions, vision, values, and nursing departments.
