Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care in collaboration with physicians and guidelines. This role requires active GA RN licensure and ACLS certification within 12 months, with at least two years of full-time RN experience post-orientation.

You will assess, implement, and evaluate care while maintaining safety, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing.
• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as an RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
• Certified in American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of employment.

PREFERRED:

• Minimum of two (2) years' experience involving the treatment of cardiac/critical care patients, ER, ICU and/or Radiology (IR) experience highly preferred.
• Procedural and/or Emergency Department experience (including pre-op, OR, PACU, Interventional Pain, Endovascular, Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, and strong IV insertion skills) is easily transferable.
