Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Psych in Raleigh, NC to perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop patient care plans, and deliver medications and treatments under physician orders. The role requires strong clinical judgment and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team within a correctional setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active NC RN license (or compact with NC eligibility) and CPR/BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in North Carolina or compact with NC eligibility.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and nursing standards.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, triage patient needs, and provide critical interventions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants, and other staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
• Educate patients on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare practices.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and security protocols within the correctional environment.
