Job summary

Vibra Travels LLC seeks a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment across hospital settings in the United States. The role focuses on patient assessment, plan of care development, crisis intervention, and collaborative care within a dynamic team.

Minimum qualifications include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, with preferred PMH nursing certification and a nursing degree. Local and non-local assignments offered with competitive hourly pay and stipends.

Position Summary:

Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Healthcare. Works with patients who have psychiatric problems and disorders including assessment of mental health needs, development of care plans, managing the therapeutic environment, and crisis intervention and counseling. The provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act. Specific components of the Registered Nurse role include demonstrating clinical competence; managing patient care; improving quality of care; establishing professional relationships and utilizing professional skills; fulfilling responsibilities of the role of the hospital; and developing clinical expertise per specialty.

Supervises the following positions:

Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants,Nursing Aides and Techs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
• Current ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Certification as a Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse preferred.
• Previous acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
