Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Ground Critical Care Transport Nurse for the Air Mobile Perrysburg Station in Perrysburg, OH. You will work nights from 6:30 pm to 6:30 am, coordinating with medics or nurses to ensure high-quality care during transport.

An ADN and Ohio RN license are required, with 3 years of critical care experience. The role involves continuous patient monitoring, documentation of interventions and medications, and patient stabilization during transfer to a designated facility.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC certifications preferred.

Job Summary:

As a ground Critical Care Transport Nurse, you work with medics or nurses to ensure excellent care during transport.

You will provide ongoing monitoring and care management through the transport process and document treatment interventions, assessments, and medications.

During transfer, you will stabilize the patient and ensure continuous treatment until arriving at a designated facility.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN). RN must be able to attain all health requirements as identified by the organization (i.e., PPD, respiratory training, and vaccines as appropriate).

• Must be able to tolerate exposure to dust, diesel, engine fumes, chemicals, temperature changes, and exposure to blood borne pathogens and bodily fluids. Must be able to remain functional in a moving vehicle and aircraft. Must be able to input and retrieve information from a computer.

• Years of Experience: 3 years of critical care nursing

• License: Must be a current licensed RN in Ohio

• Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• Years of Experience: 5 years or more critical care nursing

• Certification: CEN, CFRN and/or CTRN, ATLS
