Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to join our night shift team. This full-time role (36 hours per week) requires alternating weekends and rotating holidays, with duties spanning assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care using the nursing process.

Ideal candidates will have cardiac telemetry and critical care experience, Illinois licensure, and current CPR/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of staff nurse experience preferred.
• Cardiac tele experience preferred.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills.
• Effective communication and supervision of nursing personnel.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• NIHSS certification within one month of hire.
• PALS/NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit


• Location: Chicago, IL


• Full Time (36 hours/week)


• Hours: Nights (7p-730a); every other weekend and rotating holidays required


• Required Travel: May float to other inpatient units as needed.

What you will need:

• At least one year of experience as a staff nurse preferred


• At least 1 year of Cardiac Tele Experience preferred


• Critical Care experience is preferred


• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

• Current Illinois Nursing licensure


• American Heart Association CPR Certification


• American Heart Association ACLS Certification required with in 3 months of hire
