Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care in Greensboro, NC. The RN will implement nursing knowledge under supervision and coordinate patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration. Essential duties include reviewing patient needs, analyzing health information, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing and NC RN license; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. BLS/CPR is required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a RN in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• 1 year of RN experience required.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit to ensure that every patient receives the direct and proper care needed.
• Analyzes patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current condition, to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes, such as medication administration and treatments to provide comprehensive and effective patient care.
• Reconciles medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and identifies any additional interventions needed to meet defined goals of care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
