Job summary

TriStar Horizon Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will advocate for patients and follow established nursing models to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive outcomes.

You will assess patient status on admission and every shift, administer medications, document thoroughly, and educate families about care plans.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse required with RN licensure.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent.
• ACLS/BCLS/PALS instructor credentials or ability to obtain within stated time frames.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide compassionate care and respond quickly to patient needs and requests.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as \"Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.\" You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), andensure thorough andtimelydocumentation of care administration in the patient's medical record. - Administer prescribed medications,monitorthe patient for therapeutic response, and takeappropriate actionin the event ofan unintended response to the medication.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactivelyanticipatingpatient needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications,possible sideeffects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

What qualifications you will need:

• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Advanced Cardiac LifeSpt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• 1 Year of RN experiencerequired
