Campbell County Health seeks an experienced nurse educator to lead education across the care continuum. The RN collaborates with the Professional Development Director and Supervisor to assess, plan, implement, and improve education, competency, and committee work in alignment with CCMH mission and values.
The role administers on-site education, develops comprehensive programs, and leads orientation, simulations, and staff development, including the RN Residency and Medical Assistant Program.
Working in conjunction with the Professional Development Director and Professional Development Supervisor, the RN assesses, plans, implements and collaborates with other departments to ensure excellence in patient and family care, reflective of CCMH mission, vision and values through the use of education, competency, and committees. The RN will integrate departmental goals for education across the care continuum. The RN practices within the framework of the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association professional standards and National Patient Safety Goals. Responsible for conducting on-site education and consulting to clinicians and medical staff. Provides educational support and training on new and/or updated products and procedures. Develops and delivers comprehensive clinical education programs and presentations, including lectures, seminars, forums, and meetings. Maintains and fosters positive relationships with healthcare providers and clinics. Stays up to date with the latest developments in the medical field and maintains a working knowledge of best practices in clinical education. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) or a registered pharmacist (RPh) license.
