Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Process Improvement RN Prog Mgr to lead facility or CBU level initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, patient safety and outcomes. You will educate and mentor staff, design improvement strategies, analyze data and collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions.

The role requires clinical experience, quality and performance improvement background, and strong communication, leadership and organizational skills to coach teams and uphold MHS values.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington State or multistate license endorsement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience practicing in a clinical setting.
• Minimum of two (2) years leading or coaching process improvement.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical care, quality, performance improvement, project/program management or any combination of these areas.
• Consideration given to internal candidates not meeting all minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert on process improvement methodologies and tools, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement throughout the enterprise.
• Assist with data analysis, benchmarking, analyzing business and clinical processes using data, interviewing, and observation to document workflows.
• Identify opportunities for optimizing workflows, enhancing efficiency, implementing safe and appropriate simplification strategies, reducing errors, eliminating obstacles, and achieving improved outcomes.
• Facilitate and coach teams in the use of the MHS process improvement methodology (ID-PDSA) using process improvement and project management skills to drive and track progress and impacts.
• Deliver training/curriculum, and coach MHS employees on process improvement principles, tools, simple project management, data analysis and visualization, daily management, standard work, and change management.
• Plan and implement scalable strategies facility or CBU wide. Assist with enterprise-wide scalable initiatives and strategies.
