Job summary

Sanford Health’s 25th Street Clinic in Fargo, ND is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care, perform assessments, provide education, triage, and support clinic operations.

You will apply the nursing process across the age continuum, work with providers in ambulatory and hospital settings, and use EMR systems. A current RN license is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Current unencumbered RN license in the practice state.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care, assess patients, provide education and triage in ambulatory setting.
  • Utilize nursing process to deliver individualized care across age groups.
  • Work with providers in hospital and outpatient settings and participate in on-call as needed.
  • Document care and communicate using EMR and team-based collaboration.

Join this fast paced, team oriented clinic! This clinic works with patients to manage and treat chronic pain. Some of the procedures include: Kyphoplasty, Back, hip and knee injections, therapies along with education and management of pain. Our pain management specialists understand how chronic pain works and have many options to help patients feel better!

  • Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

  • No evenings, weekends, holidays or call

  • Experience credit towards wage range

  • $15,000 Sign on Bonus

Job Summary

Responsible for the coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other interventions. Requires excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize/triage the needs of the patients and the practice. Occasionally works in emergent patient care situations requiring critical thinking and prompt assessment skills. Will perform age related patient assessment and intervention as well as scheduling tests and interventions per provider order. Responsible for utilizing the professional nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients across age continuum in an ambulatory setting. Cares for patients in all phases of specific states including assessment, disease maintenance, treatment, and follow-up as patients move in both inpatient and outpatient setting. Responsible for utilizing the professional nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients across age continuum in an ambulatory setting. Must have working knowledge of electronic medical records. May work with or participate with or without provider in hospital and on hospital patients and take call with the provider, as needed. Abides by respective healthcare agency's policies. Provides a quality of service that customers describe as excellent. Must be skilled in assessment and triage of patients with various conditions and devices both in person and in using the appropriate mode of electronic communication. Collaborates with providers and delivers appropriate assistance during surgical and non-surgical procedures.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications.
