Job summary

vTech Solution seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Procedural Care Unit in California. You will provide skilled nursing before and after interventional radiology procedures, monitoring status, administering treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.

Must maintain CA RN licensure, CPR and ACLS certifications, and be proficient with EPIC EMR. Prior interventional radiology or procedural care experience is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology treatments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status during recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology staff, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedural care.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and elevate concerns appropriately.

The nurse must maintain current certifications and demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR and procedural care protocols.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience or prior successful traveler assignments.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Prior interventional radiology experience.
• Experience working in a procedural or radiology care unit.

Special Considerations:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced procedural care environment.
• Pre- and post-procedural recovery care expertise required.

Scheduling:

• Full-time position with day shifts in the Procedural Care Unit.
