Job summary

Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Tazewell County Jail in Pekin, Illinois. This PRN position primarily works weekday shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. You will provide patient care and collaborate with Charge Nurses to support treatment programs.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited nursing school and hold a valid RN license in Illinois. Responsibilities include administering medications and documenting nursing encounters. The role is focused on caring for vulnerable populations in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.
• Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs.
• Implement medical plans by administering medications.
