Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville is seeking a Registered Nurse PRN for the Pre/Post Op Surgical Areas at Eastpoint Outpatient Surgery Center. You will implement the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and ensure quality patient care across age groups.

You will participate in unit-based governance and uphold Kentucky Nursing Laws and hospital policies. Requirements include active Kentucky RN licensure, BCLS within 90 days, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN license.

• ACLS & PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• Cross trained Pre Op & Post Op Areas.

The registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes and the delivery of quality patient care and initiates change through active involvement in the unit-based and hospital shared governance councils while contributing to a healthy professional practice environment.National Professional Nursing Standards serve as guidelines for nurses as they utilize critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills and exercise appropriate nursing judgment.
