Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Miller Prairie Center provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process across all care phases. Collaborates with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Cares for residents under state regulations, coordinates care, resident education, and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while maintaining clinical standards and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Current unencumbered RN license in practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
