Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced RN Float to support multiple acute care units as part of the Acute Care Float Pool at College Station. This PRN role requires the ability to float where needed, deliver high-quality patient care, and adapt to varying unit environments.
Ideal candidates are RNs with an accredited nursing program, two years of nursing experience, and BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days.

Float Expectations: RNs may float to various acute care units based on hospital staffing and patient care needs.
The Acute Care Float Pool provides experienced RNs with the opportunity to support multiple nursing units throughout Baylor Scott & White Hospital – College Station. Float Pool RNs are expected to adapt quickly to different unit environments, patient populations, workflows, and care teams while maintaining safe, high-quality patient care.
This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys variety, works well independently, and is comfortable adjusting to changing patient care needs. Float Pool RNs use strong clinical judgment and nursing knowledge to provide care across appropriate acute care settings while collaborating with unit leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
Baylor Scott & White Hospital – College Station is a private, 143‑bed, multi-specialty hospital. The Medical Center is a certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Certified Chest Pain Center, as well as a Level III Trauma Center.
